How to start a wish listIf you are already going Green and buying organic, go through your cabinets, fridge, freezer, medicine cabinets, cleaning supplies, etc, and compile a list of what you buy.
Then think about what your stores sell that are too $$$ right now but that you might buy if you could get coupons for them.
If you are just starting out and buy nothing organic right now, I would start out by taking a pen and notepad with you the next time you run errands and write down the brands and types of products you would like to buy.
You can, of course, add to, tweak, adjust, erase things from your wish list at any time.
Make sure you note the items on your wish list that you buy on a regular basis and can therefore use lots of coupons for so that you can stock up on coupons so you'll always have coupons for items you buy the most.
Stores sometimes discontinue products to bring in new ones so, on occasion, I take a stroll through the entire store to see if they're discontinuing any of my favorite products or if they've gotten anything new.
REMEMBER: saving money on organics is just like saving money on conventions foods. Keep in mind product sizes, quantities, amounts, weight... Just because something is cheap doesn't mean it's a good deal.
Also, find out if your stores take IP or Internet Printed coupons and find out if they double coupons (some double up to $.99, some double up to $1.99, others triple to $.99) and note that on the top of your wish list that way we can help you save the most green!
