Welcome! I created this forum specifically for those of us on the Green path to save some green!

We eat primarily organic and I'm obsessed with saving money. In 2006, I cut our annual grocery bill in HALF with coupons, from $6000 to $3000!!! I started this trade group because I want to help others do the same.

If you're interested in becoming a member, please read the following. By applying to become a member, you must adhere to these guidelines. Read on for what OCC is all about and our rules...

Here you can:

Trade coupons/rebates
(must be good on products that fall into one or more of the following categories:
organic, all-natural [meat/poultry/fish]
sustainable goods [CFL bulbs, rechargeable batteries, Pyrex, etc]) . While I have created many other forums for this site, I created this site PRIMARILY FOR COUPON TRADE, so you must either post a Wishlist or a Trade list within one week of joining AND ACTIVELY TRADE shortly there after or your account will be deleted. NO handling fees or selling coupons. All "haggling" should be done privately via email or PM. When your trade is complete, rate your trader using our feedback forum. Notify me of "bad" trades, I'll see what I can do, but I'm not a baby sitter. I will, however, get rid of any deadbeat traders.

Trade freebies
(again, make sure these are organic or sustainable, for example:
organic tea samples,
all-natural beauty samples, etc) .
This is a forum for TRADE, no selling, handling fees please. Freebie trade ONLY, feel free to trade actuals off the board (clothes, baby items, etc) however don't do it ON the board, as there are enough websites already set up for this sort of thing AND, as we're a "Green" group, it's MUCH more sustainable to bring clothing, baby items, etc to your local consignment shop than to send these items hundreds or thousands of miles away. Support a local business, keep $ in YOUR community, consign!

Find out what's out there for organic coupons: printables, hidden, hang tag, peelie, etc. Even write to the companies themselves and request your own!

Off-topic chat with other "Greens" about families, saving money, organic gardening, etc.

Read/Write reviews for everything from organic food to household items to hybrid/plug-in vehicles.

And MUCH, MUCH MORE!

Now to the not-so-fun stuff... none of the following allowed and I WILL delete your account if you do any of these things:
~ spamming
~ selling freebies/actuals/coupons OR linking to your eBay store or another site where you sell things
~ handling fees
~ flaming (causing online fights, we should treat each other with respect and kindness... Treat others the way you'd with to be treated, and if you'd like to be treated meanly, go somewhere else!)
dead beat traders (any members with two bad trades will be deleted from our site)
~ posting my coupon requests as a whole on anther site. This list took HOURS upon HOURS upon HOURS to compile over MONTHS, and I share it privately so others can get organic coupons too, HOWEVER since doing so, some of the links as a whole have been posted on public sites and the companies have since either cut WAY back on the # of coupons they send, OR simply stopped sending coupons. Yes, anyone can go about finding these individual links themselves, however PLEASE respect the extreme amount of time I've spent finding the companies that send coupons and do NOT post them as a whole on another site.

Once I get confirmation that you're not a spammer, you'll be approved. After being approved you have one week to post a wish list and/or trade list or your account will be deleted. After you post a wish list and/or trade list, I will unlock the forum "Coupon Request Links" for you. This will keep members out who aren't here to trade and who are only here to use the links that took me months to compile.
